LegoLand Florida Announces LegoLand Hotel for 2015
As suspected on November 21st, 2013 LegoLand Florida made their big announcement about a new themed hotel coming to the park for the 2015 season.
General Manage Adrian Jones announced the big news along with the big ground breaking ceremony in Winter Haven, Florida. The addition of a themed hotel property will move LegoLand from a single day visit park to an extended stay vacation destination for families.
LegoLand states the following about their new hotel-
"Welcoming Guests with a multicolored exterior and entrance, the four story LEGOLAND Hotel will will immerse families with young children in the world of LEGO, as an extension of the vibrant and interactive park experience. Created to bring children's imaginations to life, the LEGO themed hotel will feature 152 brightly themed rooms and suites, LEGO decor, interactive play areas; a pool and a restaurant".
This will also bring 250 construction jobs to Winter Haven, Florida while the project is being built. Then it will add as many as an additional 250 jobs to staff and maintain the completed hotel.
